Isabella Anne Fry

Mrs. Fry Dies of Pneumonia

Mrs. Samuel H. Fry died at her home in this city last Friday morning after less than a week's sickness with pneumonia fever. The funeral services were held at the residence at 11 a.m. Saturday and were conducted by Rev. M. B. Hurt, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment was at the Stubbs Cemetery four miles northeast of town.

Mrs. Fry was 52 years of age and was a daughter of Judge John N. Angel, of Houston. She was married to Sam H. Fry April 8, 1883, and they at once went to housekeeping on Mr. Fry's farm four miles east of Mountain Grove.

They continued to reside on this farm until last fall, when Mr. Fry sold the farm and moved to Mountain Grove. Sept. 26 last, Mr. Fry was so badly injured by a team and disk harrow that he died next morning. Dec. 15, 1905, the eldest daughter, Miss Hallie died. Only three children, all girls, are left. They are Miss May, aged 20, who is teaching the Mt. Zion School, eight miles east of town, Miss Nina, aged 17, and Edith aged 10.
